राज्यसभा सांसद कपिल सिब्बल ने सोनम वांगचुक के 18वें दिन के आमरण अनशन पर सरकार की चुप्पी पर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकतंत्र में सरकार को विरोध कर रहे लोगों से संवाद करना चाहिए। सिब्बल ने महात्मा गांधी और अन्ना हजारे के आंदोलनों का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि बातचीत ही लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था का सबसे प्रभावी रास्ता है।
Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal questioned the government's silence on Sonam Wangchuk's 18th day of hunger strike. He said that in a democracy, the government should communicate with the people who are protesting. Citing the example of the movements of Mahatma Gandhi and Anna Hazare, Sibal said dialogue was the most effective path to a democratic system.
